Community Services
Community Services at ZADK
At ZADK, we believe in giving back to the community and embodying the values of social responsibility. Our community service initiatives are a testament to our dedication to making a positive impact on society. Here are some of the key projects we have undertaken:
Souq Alhob
The academy participated in Souq Alhob to foster a connection between our students and the local community. Through interactive cooking demonstrations and food stalls, we shared the art of sustainable cooking and highlighted the importance of cultural culinary traditions.
Khobar International Half Marathon
As part of our social responsibility to enrich the culture of healthy eating, ZADK participated in the Khobar International Half Marathon. Our students engaged the community with cooking shows and competitions, promoting nutritious and delicious food choices for a healthier lifestyle.
Guinness World Record
On Saudi National Day, ZADK achieved a Guinness World Record by creating the biggest Saudi flag made entirely of date-flavored cupcakes. These cupcakes were later distributed to needy families, reflecting our core value of zero waste by utilizing date kernels to make Saudi coffee. This project not only celebrated national pride but also underscored our commitment to sustainability and community support.
Workers’ Appreciation
Under the slogan “Share Your Food, Don’t Waste It!” This annual initiative, started in 2016 by the founder of ZADK, Mrs. Rania Moualla, honors and appreciates the hard work of laborers. Each year, we prepare and distribute food packages to workers, emphasizing the importance of reducing food waste and sharing resources generously.
At ZADK, we are dedicated to fostering a sense of community, promoting sustainable practices, and supporting those in need. Our community service initiatives are an integral part of our mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
