At ZADK, we believe that the journey to becoming a culinary expert begins with a solid foundation and a supportive community. Our orientation program is designed to seamlessly integrate you into our energetic academy, providing you with the essential tools, knowledge, and connections to thrive in your culinary education.
Welcoming & Registration
From the moment you step through our doors, you’ll be greeted by our dedicated staff and students who will assist you in completing your registration and receiving your ID.
Academy Tour
Led by the ZADK Students Association, you will go on an exciting tour to discover our state-of-the-art facilities, including professional kitchens, lecture halls, and other amenities.
In-Person Induction
The induction covers ZADK’s vision, mission, and values, program affiliation, student services, academy rules, alumni experiences, industry overview, diploma coursework, assessments & projects, on-the-job training, social responsibility and sustainability, community engagement, and a graduation project, concluding with a knowledge activity and oath ceremony.
Mentorship
Each group will be assigned a mentor from the ZADK Students Association, ready to answer any questions and provide support throughout the orientation week.
